Equivariant motivic integration and the quotient map on the equivariant Grothendieck ring

In my talk, I will introduce and motivate equivariant motivic integration. In particular I will focus on the equivariant Grothendieck ring of varieties and the quotient map on it. If time permits I will also talk about some problems occurring in positive characteristics.
